Cross country today. And only half the school was present (seriously). We had it at Turf City this year and Turf City is freaking deserted. I felt like I was in some really rural town in Malaysia or something. So anyway, the run was tres stupid cause we had to run uphill then down hill again (don't ask me how come there are hills around Turf City, they are just there) which is really annoying cause it makes you feel like you're gonna roll down the hill or fall backwards when you're running uphill. My position was okay I guess compared to last year where we practically walked the whole thing. 31st! Hah. Hurrah.
So, video shoot on Thursday. Frickin funny. First, they filmed the whole Assembly scene and we had to sing the National Anthem like four times so that they could get good shots. And Jessica suddenly grabbed me to go and model the old uniform which was quite erm shocking? Apparently they were gonna show the new uniform design which includes a REAL tie and a starch collar, etc. Honestly, real ties suck. I mean they look nice and all but it's gonna be very tiring to tie your tie every morning . Plus, those cool people are gonna like not wear their tie properly and stupid things like that. Okay, back to the shoot. So after Assembly, the cast had to grab their school bags and meet at the main gate for the first scene. The 9 of us were split into two groups of 5 and 4. Then we had to walk in and fake talk and laugh. Haha. Euphoria, Hazirah and I kept talking about Blades of Glory, which is so horny but funny, hence there was talking AND laughing. The other group had Mr Chan and another teacher whom I can't remember her name. Then we also filmed a Chapel session scene where the choir sang the school song, etc. I love hearing the choir sing. It's really nice and calming. We'll be continuing filming when school reopens in the new term. I think it's gonna be fun man.
Meet-the-parents tomorrow! Oh joy. And some of us still have to go for some publicity thing at Nanyang Primary before that. Oh shim shams. Apparently, they want to 'hear it from the horse's mouth'.
